who is responsible

clarissa salina. for any question about this data: [email protected].

what is collected

if you sign up: your email address, the language of the page you signed up on, and the date you signed up.

your connection's ip address is used only to limit repeated attempts at the form: it stays in the server's memory for ten minutes at most and is never saved.

failed sign-in attempts to the admin area are logged with their ip address, for security.

what it is for

to send you the signup confirmation, an email when the new site opens and, now and then, news about exhibitions and new work. the address is never sold or passed on to anyone.

the legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a gdpr), which you give by leaving the address and can withdraw at any time.

for how long

for as long as you are subscribed. when you unsubscribe, the address stays marked as unsubscribed so it receives nothing more; to have it deleted entirely, write to [email protected].

where the data goes

the site and its data live on a private server in italy.

cloudflare runs the domain, proxies visits and forwards mail sent to the contact address. google (gmail) sends the site’s emails. both may process data outside the european union, under the safeguards that apply to such transfers.

technical measurements

to know whether the site works, the server records request timings and errors, without your ip address. the browser sends pages viewed, load times, errors and clicks to a monitoring service (openobserve) hosted on the same private infrastructure. nothing you type into a field is ever recorded.

to recognise the same visit from one page to the next, the browser keeps a random identifier in its local storage (localstorage). it holds nothing about you and is not used to profile you: no advertising, no third-party services.

cookies

the site sets no cookies for visitors. the only cookie is the sign-in for the admin area, which concerns only the people who run the site.

your rights

you can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected]. you can withdraw consent with the "unsubscribe" link in every email, or by writing to the same address.

if you think your data is being mishandled, you can complain to the italian data protection authority, the garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
